As a member of this small, dynamic firm you will be charged with running our main office in Burlingame, CA. You will work closely with our principals and team of tax accountants to help us provide outsourced tax director and tax compliance services to a client base mainly made up of Bay Area growth companies. It is a fast-paced, challenging and constantly evolving environment where you will be part of a team helping these innovative companies proactively manage their unique tax situations.

JOB OVERVIEW

Prepare corporation, partnership, and individual income tax returns, extensions and estimated payments; prepare gift and trust tax returns, international information returns, and quarterly and annual corporate income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740; provide fixed asset roll-forward schedule; calculate fixed assets tax depreciation; identify specific tax compliance issues according to internal and external protocols; develop accounting practices and system for tax preparation and processing; work with clients on tax provisions tax exemptions, and tax planning; collect data to support federal, state, and local initiated audits; support audit defense related to federal, state, and local income and franchise tax audits; analyze and research federal, state, and local income tax law changes, regulations and/or court decisions, identifying areas of impact and assist in ensuring compliance with tax law change; provide support during litigation involving financial issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Master’s degree in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
